About R8 Project Kings Cross
A £115m, mixed used commercial and residential developments with landscaped externals:
Situated in Central London, Kings Cross, R8 provides 33,000m2 of Gross internal area, 70% of which is used for CAT A office, retail, and small business space. Providing modern working environment suited for flexible fit out arrangements. 30% of the development will provide 72nr residential, social housing units including a car park on the ground floor and cycle parking facilities in the basement. The development also benefits from a shared landscaped, external podium on the second floor for use by both residents and commercial users.
Works as of December 2022 are currently at 55% progressed with the concrete and steel frame completed, façade on-going, and internal works including building services commencing first fix. Works are due to complete by February 2024.
All tours will start with toolbox talk, and a health and safety talk, the participants will then be taken on a site tour.
The site will be in the first and second fix stage, so will be able to see the infrastructure of the building, that is hidden upon completion. Cladding - the outer shell of the building - will be nearly complete. They will see joinery, dry lining and also screeding.
