About Deyes High School

The new 10,000m2 two/three-storey building will include over 60 classrooms, and other facilities, such as a main hall, sports hall, dining and kitchen areas and a part-covered Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).

Sustainable design features include a full Biosolar green roof, solar panels, and high performing thermal insulation and passive ventilation solutions. Air source heat pumps will be installed and there will be no dependency on fossil fuels for heating or hot water.

The new teaching building is due to be complete for spring 2024, followed by external works completion in the spring 2025.



Visitors will be given an introduction to the project and an insight into Kier Construction followed by a walk around site with the project manager and an opportunity for a Q&A with the wider project team.
