A commercial office facility in the heart of Piccadilly across floors 1 to 8 with retail areas on ground floor.
This development extends across a two storey basement with 8 further floors of commercial office space and retail areas to the ground floor.
The sub structure is formed through a intricate underpinning strategy whilst utilising the retained existing basement perimeter walls/ structure. With the superstore entailing a mixture of RC frame, post tension slabs and precast concrete panels to the cores
The façade is constructed of a mixture of handset Portland stone, precast concrete panels, rainscreen cladding, Brise Soleill and curtain walling through out.

The development is looking to utilise the existing B1 basement perimeter walls by adopting a complex underpinning methodology to extended basement to B2 level

With over 15 different façade types on the project the architectural vision is to seamlessly link traditional handset Portland stone to a modern combination of precast concrete panels, Rainscreen cladding and Brise Soliel.

To deliver the super structure that covers full extent of the site the project is utilising a number of modern construction measure.
This includes pre cast concrete panels to the core (negating the need to use shutters) and post tension slabs (minimise slab thickness and maximise floor to ceiling heights)
