About the event
Botanic Place is a mixed-use office development currently under construction in the heart of Cambridge, adjacent to the Botanic Gardens. Commissioned by Railpen and designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), the project will deliver a world-class workplace environment that combines sustainability, wellbeing, and community engagement.
The scheme comprises two new office buildings along with the refurbished Flying Pig pub, integrating heritage with modern design. The development will provide approximately 325,000–333,000 sq ft of high-quality workspace tailored to national and international occupiers in the technology, innovation, and life sciences sectors.
Botanic Place prioritises environmental performance and wellbeing, with ambitious targets including BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Platinum, and WiredScore Platinum certifications. Extensive landscaped spaces and shared terraces (over 40,000 sq ft) enhance connection to the nearby Botanic Garden, while internal amenities, such as event spaces, food and beverage areas, and wellness facilities, are designed to foster collaboration, health, and productivity.

Activities
Attendees will have a short presentation about the project, be able to speak to members of the team to understand the career options available in real estate, have a safety briefing and visit the site.
