A joint venture between the NHS and MOD, the integrated care campus will create a new first-class health and care facility for local people and the military population of Richmondshire.
The new Integrated Care Campus is being built at Catterick Garrison, next to Baden Powell House.
The new three storey building will be the first of its kind, offering a transformational building, bringing together local GP services, MOD medical service provision, community services, mental health care and voluntary, community and social enterprise sector services.
The building itself is designed to meet the requirements of an operational net zero carbon facility, with minimisation of energy consumption embedded in the design of the building and systems. There is also a client requirement to achieve a DREAM (Defence Related Environmental Assessment Methodology) Excellent rating.
The project will be still in the groundworks stage with completion not planned until Spring 2026.
This site uses CSCS Smart Check – the only platform to verify all 2.1 million CSCS-logoed cards.
Visitors will be welcomed into the site office where the site team will present a presentation about the project. There will be the opportunity for people to see the construction site, however due to the stage in the project there will be no walk onto the site.
