About the event

The scope of the works is to provide additional streams for the rotating biological contactor (RBC) at Clogher WwTW. This will ensure compliance when the population equivalent (PE) increases to the predicted number. Hence, allowing for development of the area to recommence.

The main driver is to improve compliance with the current and also the stricter consents that will be imposed in future, allowing for the development of the surrounding area. A secondary driver is to maximise operational efficiencies, reduce energy costs and removal of the Health and Safety risks of the failing structures.

Activities

The site visit will include a presentation overview of the project by the site manager and engineer.

A site tour will be included.

For younger groups we will demonstrate the use of equipment e.g CAT scanner, Total Station, Dumpy Level.
