About the event
You’ll have the chance to see one of our bigger service centres and depots in action, speak to the teams working there and get a real feel for Sunbelt Rentals.
This depot distributes lots of equipment including film & TV, plant and plant attachments and we have a traffic division based here too.
- Plant equipment and tools hire – everything from drills, mixers and DIY equipment to excavators. forklifts and welding apparatus. Plant attachments are all of the “added extras” that go onto our bigger equipment; buckets, grabs, forks, hammers, rakes etc.
- Traffic management – we have all equipment needed such as signs and temporary traffic lights and can even offer services including onsite delivery via our traffic management operatives and site survey and design.
- Film & TV – from cameras to lenses and accessories to grips and lighting and even powered access (eg scissor lifts). Everything you need to ensure a shoot goes to plan!
We have a team of engineers based here who help fix and maintain our machinery so it’s safe and ready to go out to meet the needs of our clients.
Activities
You will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of a busy operational Service Centre! You’ll be able to see at first-hand our equipment and the type of work we do in hiring it out and maintaining it.
You will also get to meet our teams and hopefully one or two of our current apprentices, who will be on hand for some questions and answers!
There will also be an interactive activity, based around one of the machines we have available whether it be a dumper truck or a film scissor lift or seeing some of the signage we have in the traffic division.
We will discuss the different roles and entry routes (apprenticeship, graduate) that we have available from hire controller to engineer, to highlight potential career options available at Sunbelt Rentals.
