About the event

Project Riverside is a Derby City Council (DCC) project that forms a key element of the overall ‘Our City Our River (OCOR) Masterplan’ project and will provide the City of Derby with more resilient flood alleviation measures to help cope with more extreme and intense flooding events brought about by climate change. Main works: Demolition of existing buildings, boundary treatments and existing flood  walls. House. Removal of existing flood walls and embankments, trees and other vegetation. Creation of a flood conveyance corridor comprising the construction of new flood & Gravity wall, along with the landscaping of the riverside

This site uses CSCS Smart Check – the only platform to verify all 2.3 million CSCS-logoed cards.

Activities

Visitors will have a site tour of the demolish sites and the river side piling. The subcontractors will be delivering a activity and an presentation will be conducted by Sisk.  They will be a chance to ask questions.
