About the event
This project involves the decommissioning of legacy systems and the installation of advanced equipment to enhance the site’s phosphorus removal efficiency. These upgrades will ensure compliance with new statutory discharge consents, significantly reducing environmental impact. The project is scheduled for a 95-week duration, with final completion expected in December 2027.
This site uses CSCS Smart Check – the only platform to verify all 2.3 million CSCS-logoed cards.
Activities
Site visitors will attend a presentation delivered by project team members, highlighting current operations alongside available career pathways and opportunities. The session is scheduled to last between one and two hours

Educational Visits:Visits limited to educational institutions only.
Minimum age: 16 years old
Anyone under the ages of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult
Accessibility:A large car park adjacent to the school can be used for visitors to the site All visitors are to report to the school to be escorted over to the site PPE is not required for this visit; however, please ensure you wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear
