About the event
This project is a redevelopment of a two-storey primary and nursery school consisting of a new teaching block, asbestos removal and demolition of existing school buildings, drainage and attenuation tanks, hard landscaping, new and reinstated access roads and car parks, and completion of the MUGA, under the DfE framework.
Construction of the new school building is being built whilst the existing school remains operational. This includes external drainage and utility connections, new hard and soft landscaping. Safe removal of asbestos and demolition of the existing school buildings. Installation of attenuation tanks.
This site uses CSCS Smart Check – the only platform to verify all 2.1 million CSCS-logoed cards.
Activities
The activity will consist of a site tour and presentation showing the progress of the project and employment opportunities and pathways into Galliford Try.
