About the event
St George acquired London Dock in 2012 from News International. A site with a very rich history in one of the fastest growing local authorities, LB Tower Hamlets.
The masterplan provides key benefits to the local community in terms of a high-quality public realm, new school, reinvigorates existing heritage assets and 2038 new homes with 150,000sq ft of commercial space across 15 acres of Land.
This is to be delivered across 9 phases, with Pennington Street Warehouse, a Grade II listed building, setting the spine of the development and a source of inspiration for the architecture.
This site uses CSCS Smart Check – the only platform to verify all 2.3 million CSCS-logoed cards.
Activities
We will take you through a journey of the development and give you an insight into our rich history starting in the marketing suite. We will finish at the Bow Arts Open House-Meet the artists, designers, makers, and creatives who work at The Rum Factory, and enjoy a day of workshops and creative activity. The Rum Factory is based at the heart of London Dock, in Pennington Street Warehouse.
