About the event
VolkerHighways has been working with Medway Council since 2007 and is delivering their current highways infrastructure contract. The works include planned and responsive maintenance, including carriageway and footway resurfacing, winter maintenance, drainage cleansing and road markings. The team is also working on Medway’s street lighting as well as capital schemes to improve and enhance the council’s existing network.
Activities
The site visit will include a presentation with an overview of the project. Followed by talks from our key members of the team working on the project, on what their roles are and how they got into construction. The visit will finish with a quick tour of a local site.

Due to activities on site, age groups would need to be 14 and upwards
