Project Aleph is the old Lansdowne House building located at the southern end of Berkeley Square in Mayfair, Central London. The building consists of 9 office levels above ground floor with entrances on both north and south elevations and retail space at ground floor.
There are 2 basement levels which contain capital plant levels B2 and B1 plus cycle storage and changing facilities on B1. The structure is reinforced concrete below and above ground, with a “sway frame” up to Level 8 and a “soft core” constructed in precast concrete wall panels. There is a terrace at level 8 and the crown structure is formed from structural steel, and further plant on level 10 roof.
The internal structure is produced from architectural precast concrete columns forming a tree like structure and insitu floor slabs with a high quality finished required.
Façade is made up from stone with curved glass and bronze anodised/ PPC panelled curtain walling The stone piers and cills are formed with architectural precast concrete above level 1.
