Kier Construction, in collaboration with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Velindre University NHS Trust and the design team, is embarking on an exciting endeavour to construct a state-of-the-art Satellite Radiotherapy Unit in the grounds of Nevill Hall Hospital, in the town of Abergavenny. This visionary project aims to bring high quality healthcare services directly to the community, housed in outstanding buildings that are purpose-built and exude exceptional quality. The new unit will revolutionise access to radiotherapy services for the residents of Gwent and South Powys, ensuring that vital care is just a stone’s throw away. The plan involves expanding the boundaries of Nevill Hall Hospital, demolishing the existing single-story maternity building and replacing it with a larger, two-storey structure that will provide more space for enhanced accessibility and embrace new landscaping, transforming the surroundings.
