About the event

Willmott Dixon is constructing a new building within the existing St Andrews primary school. This is a three-storey building with a gross internal floor area of 2350m2.

The building will provide facilities for up to 330 pupils plus 30 places for SEN/inclusive learning provision.

The project is anticipated to be 35% complete by March.

Activities

Visitors  will be able to see the construction of the new building.  They will see-roofing works, SFS (Steel frame system) which is the frame fixed to the main structure and externally boarded, windows and doors being fitted, brickwork to the external façade, internal dry walling, sprinkler 1st fix, M+E containment and 1st fix.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult

Accessibility:
There is site accessibility but arrangements will need to be made prior to the visit for wheelchair users as access will be limited to the external of the site. the main construction area is only accessible by steps.
