About the event
The Jubilee Sports Centre extension comprises a sizeable double-storey atrium to the existing building.
The extension will house a brand new gym with 200 exercise stations and a wide range of Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) accredited machinery, ensuring the gym meets the diverse needs of the community. The centre will also have three squash courts, five new sports studios including dedicated martial arts and indoor climbing spaces and a climbing wall.
Sport, fitness and wellbeing are incredibly important to the University of Southampton students, staff and our local community. This impressive state-of-the-art leisure facility will offer lots of opportunities for students, residents and young people to enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle.
