About the event
Come and visit the Agratas site near Bridgwater, where we are building the UK’s largest electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility. Agratas and lead construction contractor Sir Robert McAlpine will deliver a presentation on the background to the project and future plans, followed by the opportunity to ask questions.
You’ll then see the project and the site from our viewing platform and take a tour of the construction compound and site offices, allowing you to see the progress on Agratas Building One close up. It will provide a real insight into the day to day operations of one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, a crucial part of the transition to electric vehicles and the Government’s Net Zero agenda.
Activities
Site tour on level ground and sit down meeting away from the active construction site, so no special clothing required – but please wear practical footwear. Please advise of any accessibility issues, as we can accommodate this. We will share full details on travel, parking and other important information in advance of the events.
Please note: these events are aimed at the local community around the site to visit us and learn more about the project. If you are a local business, the best way to engage with us is via our regular events with Somerset and Sedgemoor Chambers of Commerce.
