Tilbury Douglas has undertaken a contract to fit out a new test facility for Warrington Fire, the facility will be used to establish building products’ ability to withstand fire and issue fire rating certification. It will have a total Ground Internal Floor Area of 8559m².
A full range of complex MEP services are required within the building, with a cold abatement plant room included where polluted air is safely treated before being discharged to the atmosphere.
Over the next couple of months, we will be installing M&E services, installing blast furnaces and chimneys, erecting staircases, and erecting bay and partition walls. We will also continue to fit out the office area including ceiling installation.
Activities
Visitors will be welcomed into the site office where the site team will present a presentation about the project which will them followed by a site tour of the construction site.
