About the event
St James, part of the Berkeley Group is delivering White City Living, an 11-acre regeneration scheme situated in the heart of the £8 billion White City Opportunity Area. Working in partnership with Hammersmith & Fulham Council and key partners, St James will deliver over 2,030 new homes of which 492 are affordable and over 80,000 sqft of flexible space for commercial and community use. We aim to create a positive, safe and exclusive atmosphere for our residents to enjoy and proudly call White City Living their home. We want our residents to feel welcomed, celebrated and connected. This development is in its 8th year of construction. Work continues to progress, with 3 phases left to complete.

Activities
On this visit, you will be exposed to construction in various phases of completion. You will see the different stages of building the concrete frame, installing internal walls, plumbing, electrics and joinery. You will also learn about the the various job roles that contribute to the build, from site managers to trades and apprentices. This visit will involve walking, climbing up stairs and taking a hoist lift that climbs the side of the building. If you are uncomfortable with heights, please consider if you will be able to do this.
