About the event
Wood Wharf, a high density, mixed use development which has been designed to maximise the potential of its unique waterfront location, establishing new connections to public transport networks, and build on the success of the Canary Wharf estate. The Wood Wharf estate creates a strong and complementary mix of uses, providing over 3000 new homes, nearly 2 million ft2 of high quality commercial office space, and a further 250,000 ft2 of shops, restaurants and community uses.
Approximately one third complete (Phase 1 buildings). Phase 2 & 3 currently under construction.
Activities
An overview of the development and a tour to the viewing platform in one of the Phase 1 completed commercial buildings to incorporate a view of the whole site, of both construction and completed areas of Wood Wharf.
Staff working on Wood Wharf available to answer any questions regarding the Wood Wharf Development and construction techniques.

Minimum age: 14 years old
14+ when booked via schools and colleges (must be accompanied by staff).
