About the event
Come and explore a live construction project in the heart of Belfast.
This Open Doors event at Union Street offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at a real renovation in progress, combining the best of both worlds. You’ll see a commercial shop and restaurant fit-out at ground level, with two residential apartments being developed above.
During the visit, you’ll learn about the different stages of a renovation project, the wide range of people and trades involved, and what it really takes to transform a building from start to finish. You’ll get to see construction work happening on site, ask questions directly to the professionals involved, and take part in light activities designed to help you explore whether a career in construction could be right for you.
