About the event
This project is being delivered under IHP, the joint venture between VINCI Building and Sir Robert McAlpine.
The project is to create a new 22 bed critical care ward to allow the current department to moved from within the East Ward Block to adjacent to critical areas such as theatres. It will include plantrooms split between the basement and the 2nd floor level and also provide additional staff office and welfare spaces on the 1st floor.
This site uses CSCS Smart Check – the only platform to verify all 2.3 million CSCS-logoed cards.
Activities
The visit will introduce the project and explain the ongoing relationship with DBTH including recent projects at Bassetlaw, Mexborough and Doncaster. A Site visit will be included to see the formation of the ward, including the install of the new partitions and the M&E services being installed.

What 3 words reference: Blunt.Repair.Slug Pay and display Parking is available on the hospital estate but very limited. Roadside parking is available. Site visit will be limited to able bodied people only due to the nature of a construction site. Unfortunately no disabled access is available.
