About the event
The Beacon Academy project involves building a three-storey secondary school with an additional refurbishment element to one existing block. The school will accommodate up to 750 students and the building will incorporate; main building with sports hall, dining hall, classrooms, educational facilities, multi-use games area and substation. There will be a temporary construction access via HUMBERSTON ROAD. The original building will be demolished once construction of the new school has been completed. Other works include drainage, tree removal and replacement landscaping, staff and visitor car parking, cycle storage, electric vehicle charging points, installation of solar panels and air source heat pumps etc.
Activities
The visit will include a project overview, site induction, site tour and plenty of opportunities to see our team in action and ask questions about construction careers.
