Woodvale Construction Company Ltd are delighted to welcome school groups to the Digi-Hub, Omagh project.
The Digi-Hub project includes the partial demolition, refurbishment, and extension of an existing building to provide approximately 60 work units over two floors. In addition, students will learn about the coordination of multiple phases, such as the temporary relocation of the existing pharmacy to a modular unit on-site. It has key features like multipurpose meeting spaces, breakout areas, landscaping, and modern facilities.
The project showcases the creativity and teamwork involved in creating innovative, state-of-the-art spaces while also highlighting how the construction process can transform a derelict building, giving it a new lease of life.
Our site team will provide a tour of the site, and students will get a firsthand look at how this complex project is being brought to life. From project management, site management, and engineering to the on-site trades and safety management involved in the development, students will learn about the diverse roles that contribute to the success of this project.
Students will have the opportunity to talk with current apprentices about their on-site experiences.
We hope the visit will inspire students and show them the exciting career paths available in construction in Northern Ireland.

PPE will be provided, and we ask visitors to wear appropriate close-toed footwear.
