Hilsea Lido

About the event

The project consists of a refurbishment to the existing pool and surrounding areas at Hilsea Lido. We are creating a new pool structure within the existing pool and it will have a complete new filtration system which will be fed from a refurbished plant room, including new filtration tanks. The plant room will have a new roof installed and this will be made up of timber rafters, ply decking and a felt finish.

External works consist of removing all current external finishes and replacing with a permeable build up for surface water and new surface finishes.

A new sub-station, incoming electrical supply and a new gas supply are also part of the works.

New Portakabins will be provided for changing rooms along with smaller beach hut type structure which will also act as changing facilities.
