About the event
A manufacturing facility producing 20,000 tonnes of steel for some of the most complex and iconic steel framed buildings in the UK and beyond.
Some of our project are The Olympic stadium, The Manchester United Stadium, Trafford Centre and Hinckley Point C.
Activities
During the tour, visitors will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the steel fabrication process and the different machinery and tools used. In addition, they will also gain insight on the different areas within the manufacturing operation and how these play a vital role in the construction industry.
The visit allow students to gain a greater understanding of the different careers available in Engineering, Construction and Manufacturing industries and how to access these roles.
