About the event

The Canterbury Works Headhouse and Ventilation Shaft is located in the London Borough of Brent and is host to a headhouse structure which provides important ventilation, temperature regulation, smoke extraction during a fire, and emergency service access into the Euston tunnel for the High Speed 2 (HS2) route. Works have restarted following a safe stop of the site in September 2024.

For the Canterbury Works Headhouse and Ventilation Shaft tour you will have an opportunity to understand how the site has been built, the challenges and innovations for the the headhouse structure and how we are working with the local community living next door to the site.
