About the event

The Victoria Road Crossover Box is located to the west of where the new HS2 Old Oak Common station is being constructed. The huge underground box structure, that is 128 metres in length and 25 metres deep, will house a crossover track mechanism that will allow HS2 trains to switch between tracks, on the approach and descent from Old Oak Common station.

Activities

This event is an opportunity for you to learn about the Victoria Road Crossover Box and understand its role within the HS2 rail network.
This event is suitable for over 16s only. Due to the site layout there are stairs to climb, therefore this visit is unsuitable for those with mobility needs.
At this event you will be able to:
• View and explore the site
• Talk to our site team and ask questions about our works
• Hear from a member of our project team about their journey into the construction industry
Visitors are required to wear sensible shoes such as flat footwear (e.g. trainers or boots) as there will be some walking. No open toe shoes, heels or flipflops will be allowed.
